Statement of Faith

The Bible

We believe the 66 books of the Bible are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. Scripture is factually true in all areas it addresses, including history and science, and serves as our ultimate authority in all matters.

The Triune God

We believe in one eternal God who exists in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each participated in the work of creation and continues to sustain all things.

Creation

We believe God created all things in six literal days as described in Genesis 1-2. The creation account is factual and historical, providing a reliable framework for understanding the origin and history of life, mankind, Earth, and the universe.

Humanity

We believe Adam and Eve were specially created by God as the first man and woman. All humanity descends from them, and their fall into sin brought death, suffering, and separation from God into the world.

Noah's Flood

We believe the great flood described in Genesis was an actual, historical, global catastrophic event. This worldwide flood, combined with the acts of creation, is responsible for much of Earth's geological record as we observe it today.

Salvation

We believe Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life and died as the perfect sacrifice for mankind's sin. Salvation is received by faith alone in Christ alone. He rose bodily from the dead and will return to judge the living and the dead.
